Leadership and School Discipline: My professional career can be traced from very humble beginnings. At the tender age of 11, I left home to live in Dangriga Town where I acquired my secondary and tertiary education. I commenced teaching in 1991 at the age of 19 at our very own high school in Independence Village. I grew with the school and eventually assumed leadership of the institution in 2006, after serving as Vice Principal for six years. I was responsible for the establishing the Independence Junior College in 2007 and served as Actg. Dean for two years. I continue to maintain supervisory control over both institutions. My passion is for the growth and development of young people and I maintain a strong desire to be involved in community service and development projects. I have two children, both are pursuing their formal education - my daughter at the secondary level and my son at the tertiary level. I am presently pursuing a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership at Galen University. It is my trust that God will grant me many more years that I can continue to contribute to the development of our institution and country.
